Nissan Xterra Crashed at Austin Estate, Texas

2. A friend of ours was driving home one early morning in his 2005 Nissan Xterra, after having been up all night with friends. At about 9:00 am he was driving on a blvd, looking for leander tx homes for sale at the neigborhood, and suddenly fell asleep at the wheel. He hit a Pontiac Grand Prix with a family inside it, who were stopped at a red light signal. The mother, who was in the back seat, died instantly from whiplash. Though police reports show he was NOT intoxicated at the time of the crash, our friend is still in jail for negligent manslaughter.
